I’m Danielle… travel advisor, outdoors lover, and someone who’s happiest exploring a place on foot with a matcha in hand.

I moved from the DC area to San Diego and instantly knew I was home.

La Mesa became my landing spot, and getting to know its trails, neighborhoods, and small businesses has been the best part of building a life here.

I’m always finding new routes to wander, cozy cafés to try, and exciting corners of East County to slow down and appreciate.

I launched La Mesa Days to share that spirit - the everyday adventures, the local spots worth knowing, and the community stories that make this foothill city feel special.
