Downtown La Mesa Village Sign Groundbreaking Ceremony

The Downtown La Mesa District Sign is officially underway, and the community showed up in the best way to celebrate this exciting moment! The groundbreaking had such an amazing turnout, and the morning felt extra special with coffee and donuts shared among neighbors, friends, and local businesses. It was the perfect way to kick things off!

This soon to be landmark will sit right at La Mesa Boulevard and Palm Avenue, adding a charming and welcoming touch to the heart of the Village. What makes it even more special is the love behind it. The design will feature more than 1500 hand-painted tiles created by La Mesa residents and businesses, plus engraved plaques that truly showcase the pride people have for this community. Every single tile and plaque is already finished, which just shows how excited everyone is to see it come to life.
